Updated September 1, 2026.
This is an accessibility statement from the Center for Evaluation Innovation (CEI). Know that CEI takes accessibility seriously, and we are constantly working to make the resources and content we offer fully accessible to all users.
Measures to support accessibility
Center for Evaluation Innovation takes the following measures to ensure the accessibility of CEI’s website:
- We include accessibility throughout our internal policies.
- We assign clear accessibility goals and responsibilities.
- We employ formal accessibility quality assurance methods.
- We integrate accessibility into our procurement practices.
- We ensure an experienced digital accessibility staff member reviews web content prior to its publishing.
- We embed accessibility best practices into our projects.
- We utilize tools to improve the accessibility of content we create (e.g., color contrast analyzer, header mapping and page structure extensions, alt text prompter).
Conformance status
The Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) defines requirements for designers and developers to improve accessibility for people with disabilities. It defines three levels of conformance: Level A, Level AA, and Level AAA. CEI’s website is partially conformant with WCAG 2.1 level AA. Partially conformant means that some parts of the content do not fully conform to the accessibility standard. We are always working to improve the accessibility of our website.
Feedback
We welcome your feedback on the accessibility of CEI’s website. Please let us know if you encounter accessibility barriers by emailing us at coordinator@evaluationinnovation.org. We try to respond to all feedback within two business days.
Limitations and alternatives
Despite our best efforts to ensure the accessibility of CEI’s website, there may be some limitations. The limitations that we are aware of, and that we are working to fix, are in the following list. However, please contact us if you observe an issue not listed.
Known limitations for CEI’s website:
- PDF documents: There are many PDF documents available for download on CEI’s website, and they may not all be fully accessible. We are revisiting the downloadable documentation available on this website and reevaluating its accessibility. Please reach out to let us know if you run into any issues via coordinator@evaluationinnovation.org.
- Color contrast: CEI is aware that some of the default text colors on this website do not have sufficient contrast with the background on which they are displayed. The CEI team is revisiting our branding and style guide to address this issue.
Assessment approach
The Center for Evaluation Innovation assessed the accessibility of our website using the following approaches:
- Self-evaluation
- External evaluation
Accessibility of CEI’s external events
CEI has the honor of planning and facilitating the Evaluation Roundtable every two years. In addition to this, we regularly host and run online workshops and webinars. We include consideration for accessibility in all steps of the planning process for these events, from choosing the venue to providing pre- and post-event resources.
If you registered for and/or attended an event hosted by CEI and have feedback on its accessibility, please reach out to us via coordinator@evaluationinnovation.org.
